WHO IS ADAM VALLEY?
My mother handed me my first camera. Probably a bad idea. (See photo)
Not too long after, I did the sensible thing and buried myself in art school debt. Two years into my BFA I dropped out and lept head first into design roles at Zeus Jones and then Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis. (Don’t worry Sallie Mae. This story has a happy ending. I went back to school and finished my degree over the next 4 years.)

NATE THE COPYWRITER
“Come to NYC. I need an art director.”
ME
“Bet. What’s an art director?”
To NYC I went, working at Publicis, Bad Boy Records, and Translation.
After a Super Bowl project and a never ending New York winter, I headed to LA for the opportunity to help launch season 1 of Netflix’s Altered Carbon and develop a whole new look for the LA Rams.
Next stop was The Many (formerly Mistress) where I co-created and wrote a feature length documentary, before finally landing at Observatory, the place I’ve called home since early 2021.
